Sky & Brandons Ride

After I gave Charity her riding lesson, we took a break. Sky asked if she could ride. So Brandon and Bart decided to take her out for a fun little ride around the property

 

 Bart went out with them at first to make sure that she didn't have any problems. Bart rode April, Sky rode DeeDee, and Brandon rode Dan.

 After Bart made sure that none of the horses were going to act up, Brandon and Sky rode off on their own. I think Sky really enjoyed herself. And, she did really well. Brandon took it nice and easy, and Sky go the hang of it right away.

 DeeDee got to trotting a little bit, but Sky handled it really well, and got her back to walking.

 I think they rode for about 15 minutes or so.

 I think they enjoyed themselves. The only bad thing that happened, is when Sky was getting off of DeeDee, her shirt got hung up on the horn, and ripped it right down the middle. (Good thing she had another one in the car).

This turned out to be a cool picture. It's great to be able to ride them out in the open where there is grass everywhere - instead of dirt all of the time.
