Today, we got an email....a sad email.
A member of our church - Candice Zimmerman passed away over the weekend. She was only 38 years old. She leaves behind a husband and 2 small children (age 8 & 2). I didn't know her personally yet, but I was told that she had a beautiful voice and was so kind.
So, the Ward was asking everyone to come and help clean the building tonight in preparation for the funeral this week. So, we grabbed some of our own cleaners, rags, etc. and headed down to the church after Bart got home from work.
I was busy cleaning that bathrooms and the kitchen while Bart started vacuuming the halls and classrooms.
Then I helped finish vacuuming the hallways.
It only took us about an hour to finish the entire building. It felt good to be of service to others. I can feel the blessings coming our way.
Since it was so late, (8:00pm), Bart and I decided to just grab some dinner at IHOP. Overall, it was a great day for us.
