Always Entertaining

Bart had to work today, but Brandon didn't. So, him and Sky invited me to go shopping with them at the Opry Mills Mall. Brandon drove. This mall is HUGE, and really nice! There is a Bass Pro attached to it too. This makes Brandon very happy!

 

 These are mounted Wild Turkeys that are on display inside the Bass Pro. They are really big.

 I learned something new today. This is a male turkey. Can you see that long stringy thing coming out of it's chest? It's called a beard. I guess that has to be at least 3" long in order for you to shoot it.

 

Bass Pro also has a large fish tank.

However, it has fish in it that are from the Nashville area. It was fun to see the different fish that are here.

 

 There was this mean looking fish in there. He didn't look very happy. It is called a

 Not sure exactly what this was. But they have Opossums here that run wild. People are running them over all the time. Melody also says that there are skunks and armadillo here too. I haven't seen any of these running around here yet. The only thing I have seen are rabbits, frogs, and mosquitos!

 

 There was a HUGE bear there. It was actually really cool.

 But, the claws were ginormous! Look at those suckers! I'm glad that he was stuffed.

 It looks like he is enjoying his belly being rubbed in this picture. Ha Ha!

He doesn't look too ferocious. Doesn't he look like "Awww - that feels good".

 

 And, as always, Brandon was most entertaining. We continued on into the actual mall. These were bracelets. But, as you can tell Brandon can always find another use for things. We actually enjoyed this store very much. Now I can't remember what the name of it is though.

 I am so glad that he doesn't really have these earrings.

Can you imagine? I didn't take a picture of him with them when he put them in his nose!

 Sky makes everything look good.

She is always fun to be around, and her laugh is infectious.

 

We took a little break and we ate lunch at a little Mexican place called Moe's.

They make homemade guacamole which Sky & I love!

 I thought of my Sister Kim when I saw this.

She has a full size tattoo on her back with something similar to this.  Miss you girl!

 We went to this candy store, and they had MEGA size Mike & Ike's. Bart would be in heaven. That would be awesome to sneak into a movie theatre. I don't think you would be able to eat them all at once. But it would be fun to have. They were only $10.

 I found this cute cowgirl hat. And, they already had betweenies out! (I call them betweenies 'cuz everything I have would hang out between these 2 pieces). Crazy fun.

Then Brandon & Sky encouraged me to go to Buckle to look at jeans. I didn't think anything would fit, but I was surprised. I ended up buying these jeans. They have great service there, and before you know it = the guy was bringing me shirts, shoes, belts, etc. I liked the nose bleed shoes too, but only ended up getting a shirt and jeans.

 

It was a great afternoon playing with Brandon & Sky. I could get used to these "play dates".
