Candle Surprise

It's a Candle Surprise kind of day!

 

A few weeks ago, Sky and I found this treasure in one of our favorite shoppes. It is called a "Secret Jewels" candle. Most of you know how much I love candles! Well, I chose this apple scented one. It smelled great and I couldn't wait to bring it home. As I was paying for it, the lady tells me, that there is a secret piece of jewelry inside somewhere. How exciting! (I tried to see where it was from the outside, but I couldn't see anything). I didn't read the candle that closely, but it says right on the outside - "Secret Jewels are valued from $10-$200. Awesome!

 

So, I brought it home and started enjoying it right away. Man it smells so good in here.

After the first couple od days, I pretty much forgot about the jewel as I burned it a little each day. Then, the other day, as I was getting ready to blow it out, I looked inside....

 

There was this little chunk of tin foil in there. So, I pulled it out ever so carefully, so I didn't burn myself in my excitement!

 

It was folded over several times. It was like opening a birthday present. I was so excited. (Grateful that it was wrapped several times - can you imagine trying to get all of the wax out of a piece of jewelry?)

 

Here is the "Secret Jewelry" that I received in mine. Isn't it pretty? I think it is more on the lower range of the value scale, but it was still fun to get a little something extra. Especially unexpected surprises.
