Hoppy Easter Everyone

Today is Easter. Our First Easter in Tennessee! Happy Easter everyone.

The flowers here are just beautiful, and smell so good

I decided to be creative, and make some of these Easter eggs for the Nash family.

Each one of them had a "prize" inside. They were fun to make, and Bart even helped me.

Brandon made his famous "heart attacks". They turned out so good.

As for Melody and her poor oven - it kept turning off and on. So Bart was trying to figure out why it was having problems. She made ham, funeral potatoes, homemade rolls, corn and green beans. Everything was delicious!

While they were working on the food, I gave the eggs to the girls. Faith with hers.

Charity with hers. (She never smiles)...

And Hope (She always smiles!)

They couldn't figure out how to get their prize out, so they went to Brandon, and he ended up cutting them into a "cracked" egg. They got their prizes, and then they tied a string to them and used them for their Easter egg hunting basket.

Then they had their Easter egg hunt. Jason and Melody filled and hid 200 eggs all over the property, with 10 that had money in them. They invited some new members of the church to join us - the Waters family.

And, they were off! They found most of them, but there were still a couple missing of the "golden money eggs". We don't know if they ever found them.

They looked everywhere. Then poor Charity came back and was crying. Se told us that she hadn't found any of the golden eggs with money in them. So, Brandon "borrowed" one of her eggs, and then what do you know - he tells Charity - "Hey there is one of those eggs on the front of the truck". She went to go get it, and what do you know, there is $5 in there!

Brandon says that he doesn't like children. Well, he could have fooled us. Heaven help him when he has kids of his own - especially daughters!

This is Duchess. She is Faith's dog that she got for birthday/Christmas. Bart really likes her. She is very smart! She is only a few months old.

We had fun posing for pictures, while the kids were looking for eggs.

Sky was teaching us how to "pose".

I like this one the best! You like that flower behind Bart's ear?

This is Obraum. He lives & works with the Nashs. He doesn't speak English, but he is a great cook (he made us authentic Mexican food one Sunday). He was busy mowing the lawn while all the egg action was going on.

 After the egg hunt....

We had a "tick check". I know ewwww. But these little suckers can sure be a bad thing, if they attach themselves to you. Jason had one on his leg.

Then, we headed back to the house for lunch. Bart rode the girls' bike. I think he is the biggest kid of all!

Brandon sat at the head of the table.

 Me, Bart & Faith

Faith again, Jason, Hope, Bro. & Sis. Waters

These were the Waters' kids, and Parker Nash.

Candice Waters made this cute bunny cake. (My Mom used to make this cake at Easter Time - but hers would have coconut as the fur). Delicious!

There wasn't much food left. Everything was delicious.

So, Happy Easter to all our friends back in Las Vegas! We had a wonderful time - we hope you did too.
