Georgia Gifts to Take Home

Can I just say - Stephanie is amazing. I know that she gets her southern hospitality from her wonderful Mom Frieda! Truly I just wanted to be with my friend and visit with her. I really missed our talks back in Vegas. But anyway, she sent me home with a few gifts because I came all the way down to Georgia to see her. She really made me feel extra special while I was there.

There were so many great things inside! A BBQ sauce that is very popular there in Georgia that I can't wait to try out, a Georgia hat (this is for ME). She probably sent it to be shared with Bart, but it is not a girly hat, so I am going to be wearing this one! Then there is a Georgia blanket that is not too heavy so that I can use it now to wrap up with it on Sunday afternoons after church, and of course a card that I will keep always.

AND, while she wasn't feeling well, and couldn't sleep, she got up at like 3:00 am and made homemade cinnamon rolls. (Bart is so spoiled) she sent me home with some for Bart. They are so good!

It sure didn't take him long to dig into them. When I reached for one, he gave me the dirtiest look and said, "What are you doing? These are mine!". I told him, "Look buddy, I went and got them for you - the least you can do is share." (He let me have ONE!!) I'm not even kidding. They all were gone the very next day!

I really had a wonderful time getting to visit with Stephanie, just hanging out with her great family, and enjoying a little bit of Georgia with her. I will always remember these fun times. Thanks again Stephanie for everything!
