Today is the day! Bryce & Beth are coming to visit. Bart, Brandon and I went to the airport to pick them up. It said that their plane was early, but we couldn't find them, so Bart and Brandon both were trying to get a hold of Bryce on his phone to see where they were.
While we were waiting, this poor guy must have fallen. He was a pretty big guy, and the paramedics were busy working on him to see what the problem was. It was a little entertainment while we were waiting.
Here they are! Beth flew from Reno to Las Vegas, where she just stayed on he plane. Then Bryce loaded up in Vegas on the same plane as Beth. (She saved him a seat), then they were able to fly to Tennessee together. That way they were able to keep each other company.
Welcome to Nashville! This is the first time for both of them!
The very first thing that Bryce said to me, wasn't "Hi", or "I missed you" - it was "if you want me to fly out here again, you are gonna have to give me some drugs. That flight was WAY too long. I thought I was gonna go crazy!" (I think Brandon was the most excited to see his brother.)
Beth rode in a wheelchair throughout the airport to save her little legs. But she is perfectly capable to walking on her own. It was good to see her. She was so happy to come for a little vacation!
Beth made the comment that she came to see her "baby" and I got to see my "baby". He's not my little baby anymore, but it was great to see him! (And NO he's not that tall, I had him step up on a step to make him look even taller). But in real life, he is taller than all of us now!
Brandon entertained Grandma Blood for a little bit in the front yard with his foldable hunting blind and fake turkey. This kid has it all! Meanwhile, Bryce didn't have anything to eat on the plane (I think it was nerves). Even Grandma Blood brought tons of snacks for them, but he didn't eat anything. So, luckily I had homemade chicken enchiladas waiting for them. He was starving!
He ate like a king today - even going back for seconds!
After everyone had something to eat, we all just visited on the front porch for a little while!
