Amish Breakfast

So, since the Orchard was a bust, we decided to go to the Feed Mill for breakfast today. They have a hot breakfast that they serve from 8:00 - 10:30 each and every Saturday, so we thought that we would give it a try.

It was kinda pricey, and they served you buffet style, but the food was actually pretty good. We got scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and biscuits & gravy. Those were my favorite! The juice was extra...but we got it anyway.

It was inside the building. After you went through the line, they have tables and chairs set up everywhere, and you can just pick where ever to sit

This is what the building looked like back in the day. This IS the exact same building that we are eating in today. I just love how they preserve the culture here.

Not only do they serve breakfast, but they have a little store where they sell all Amish goods. Everything is fresh....they have homemade cheeses, desserts, jams, jellies, homemade bread, homemade noodles, jerky and candy, soaps and other treats. Whatever you can think of. And everything that I have tried is Yummy!

Right outside they have some old things, like this stove, too. Fun times.
