Home Visit

We made the most of our home visit. Just like old times, Bart cooked breakfast for everyone. It was delicious. Both Bart and Brandon are only here for the weekend. They need to be back to work Monday morning.

And, just like old times - the wrestling started. These guys make the best out of every moment. I love that they get along with their Dad.

It was nice to be home. I didn't realize how much I missed my "stuff". Bryce has been taking care of everything for us, and has been doing a wonderful job. Everything was clean, the yard was well taken care of, and the horses were all doing well. They did a little practice roping, and we checked out the trees that we planted right before we left. They are sure getting BIG.

Hangin out, outside was great. Everyone just slipped right back in where we left off. Even Tucker was relaxed enough to just hang out with Cinch!

After we took Bart and Brandon to the airport, Bryce treated me to a homemade dinner. He grilled steaks and asparagus! His secret seasonings were delicious. He has become quite the BBQ'r.

This is kind of silly, but I wanted to document it. This is "THE BOX". It is a small little box, but for some reason Bryan & I grabbed it. First I had it, then Bryan had it. We always talked about THE BOX. Who had it, and who would get it next. We would hide it from each other. Well, today, I handed over THE BOX to Bryan. I wrote a little somethin' on it, and now it is in his hands. Kinda a fun little tradition.

Bryan also wanted me to make homemade bread. So, I made a few loaves for him, and we took some over to the pig farmer, too. Bryce wanted to show me the pig farmer's favorite pot bellied pig - Petunia, but we couldn't find her.

I had some appointments, and things to do while I was in Las Vegas. Had to pick up some things - Deseret Book, Kohl's, Staples, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Accountant, Smith's and Café Rio! Bryce drove me all over. While he did, his truck turned over to 296,000 miles.

I also got to visit my friend Stephanie Heppler. It was fun to just not be rushed and visit with her. She has the biggest heart ever! Then I went to my old office and said Hi to all of them too.

Well, back to Tennessee in the morning. It was a quick trip, but it's time to go back so that we can finish up the work there. Ciao Vegas!!
